This collection will publish the complete set of Rossini’s letters and correspondence, both written by him and addressed to him. As well, the collection will include documents and papers from impresarios, singers, scenographers, librettists and others who contributed to the creative and biographical affairs of the composer. The first four volumes set published cover the period from the composers birth up to 1830, the year after the premier of William Tell, which Rossini concluded his career with the theatre.
The last volume is dedicated to the letters that Rossini wrote to his parents, following chronological order from 1812 to 1830
