Rossini’s autographs kept at the Rossini Foundation in Pesaro were acquired mainly through the Maestro’s bequest.

In 1975 Maestro Vittorio Gui donated his musical collection to the Rossini Foundation; it consists of over four thousand volumes relating to the major composers who lived between the 1600s and the early decades of the 1900s.
